Great Day in Maine


Left Portland at 6:00am...arrived in Portland Maine and was picked up by friends in Portland Maine by 5:00pm. Met new friends in Bethel Maine --Lauren's aunt and uncle Jeanne and Don. Partied until two, waiting for the kids to arrive from DC. Woke up at 5am to Lauren's dog Molly licking my face. Ate a wonderful breakfast (after putting out a small fire in the stove..ha ha) and headed to the slopes. Skied all day, cleaned the burnt out stove, made my CHEESE BREAD, which will go with Jeanne's LASAGNA. Planning to have a drink, eat, play cards and go to bed.

    FHA has announced it will be increasing the financed mortgage insurance premium by .50 percent to 2.25%. Also the monthly amount may be increased but has not been decided. Sellers concessions have been lowered to 3% from 6% to be in line with Fannie Mae. April 5th has been set for the implementation of these changes.
