A beautiful part of Michigan

Tom this one's for you. Ritchie redid the 64 Mustang and is now working on the Impala. He has the tools and did it all himself and boy does that Stang Fly!

Spent the last two days in Whitmore Lake Michigan. What a beautiful part of the country. Lakes everywhere, large lots, and just a lot of fun with the cousins. Going to a Tigers/Redsox game tonight and will head out tomorrow for home.

One more stop in Spokane and then home to the Lake. I hope more sun and fun to come. Then maybe a short trip to Hawaii and home for the summer! I always say that anyway!

Ready to be home.

It is amazing the different roads and towns I visit on my cross coutry trips. The largest ball of string, Mt Rushmore, Petrified Forest, Lake Tahoe, Stone Mountain, you name it I have probably seen it!

But I have to say, Dorothy had it right when she said; "there's no place like home"! I have so many things happening at home right now I miss being there to get things done.

The Real Estate business is keeping Kathleen way busy without me there to help out. The boat is sitting in 70 degree weather without anyone using it and the remodel needs a heavy hand to keep the worker working!

Oh well, off to Detroit tomorrow, then I don't know where after that!

What a Week

Another large group, another successful party! I need to thank all the family members for their support of Justine on her graduation. We all came together from all corners of the country for four days of morning to night party!

Justine and Lauren were darling and gracious hosts. The melding of East Coast and West Coast at the pizza party was wonderful.

Justine picked a nice Italian Restaurant for the family party and everyone had a great time.

In DC

Got to DC wednesday morning and took the graduates out for breakfast. Justine opened her present from the Nishitani's and loved it. She wanted me to thank Grandma for the towels.

J and I went and played some tennis, then we headed off to the metro so we could take in a Nationals game. We started out at the Bullpen where we played a few games of Corn Hole, then we headed home.

Tonight is dinner with Laurens family and the rest of the Raschio's arrive; God help DC.

Next We stopped in Golden Colorado to drop off some furniture from a sale we made, We are a full service real estate company. We then ventured 10 miles to Evergreen Colorado and visited another cousin I have not seen in years. Now we are sitting 2 hours outside of Washington DC on tuesday evening.
